Dull Pain

I went to the Doctor yesterday, described this pain and asked for something to relieve it, also something to help me sleep.  This pain has gotten worst over the past month.  I just has a hysterectomy and was using the pain pills give post surgery to easy this pain in my side.  The Doctor ignored my requests and sent me for an Abdominal CT Scan.  I was just in bed trying to let the hum of my fan help me drown out the pain( that did not work).  So desperate to know if this is a common type of pain I jumped on the internet.  THANK GOD for people like all those who chose to post their symptoms on this web site.  I feel so much better not because others are in pain like myself, but because thanks to the posting I at least have some idea of what is wrong with me.  Tomorrow I will go back to my Dr. armed with the information I have learned.  I will keep you all posted

Your doc ignored your request for any type of pain med or even a pill or two for sleep.  It annoys me that so many can get any drug they want with no real need,but the ones who do need it get pushed away.  Im so sorry to hear you got no help.  I wish I had some advice for helping your pain,,I wish your doc would have helped you out in that part.
