ERCP with Sphincterotomy tomorrow-really nervous!!

I am finally having my ercp with sphincterotomy tomorrow.  I have heard so many horror stories and am really nervous!  Can someone please tell me what percentage of people get pancreatitis and how long the procedure takes?  Any other advice would be really appreciated!!!

I had the same procedure on September 30th. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Be prepared for a very sore throat for a few days. Mine went fine. I hope you had an experienced doctor. I had it done because I had a plugged bile duct. It was cleaned out and cut. So far so good. Hope you made out fine. Good Luck.

Hi!  My friend,63, has had two ERCP's close together. They put her out completely.  The test is not that dangerous in the right hands and can clear up a world of trouble from nausea to migraines. Let me know how it went and why you got it.  Good luck with everything.
