Elevated Enzymes

I am a bit confused by my recent liver test results... My doctor said my ALT was elevated at 44 first time  and 57  on second test (range 5-60) which seems to be within range from data posted on this site... All other levels are normal.  He said normal level was 24.

What he's referring to may be that you're at the upper end of the range limit on the ALT. A general 'mean' would be about 24 or 25. So if there's something either going on or starting to happen, he may be keeping an eye on things. You may have to put this result together with other test result to get a full picture.
