Hi Olivia,
My lipase numbers have been coming back at about 400 with occasional, severe left upper quadrant abdominal pain. CT, hida and ultrasound all normal. I'm starting to feel very frustrated with all of these tests and no results and it seems like my MD doesn't know where to go from here. I haven't had really severe, long-term pain (24-28 hours) in about 2 months, but have regular, less intense pain - always in the same region. Feel like I'm spending my life praying for the intense pain to return so that we have something to work with to find out what's going on.
Are you still having problems or has it "gone away"?
Would love more ideas from others.
Did you find out answers? I am in somewhat of a similiar boat. Have had upper left pain on and off for a month. Found out my lipase is slightly elevated, had US and CT-both clear, however, lipase still slightly elevated
My dad died of PC this year, so it makes me very nervous that its PC.
