Emergency.

I've gone to multiple doctors and an ENT today, apparently nobody knows what is wrong with me. All the ENT told me was to wait it out and stop taking any and all medications with a liquid diet. I now have intestinal discomfort as well. I feel something may be developing that is seriously wrong. Excrement today was strange. Foul smelling, mucus-like coating. My stomach is now feeling worse. Below is my post from the day before yesterday with all symptoms.

*I am currently on Nexium and I have been diagnosed with acid reflux disease.
Yesterday at 2 P.M. I drank probably 3 ounces of water with warm honey and apple cider vinegar added. Shortly after, my throat started to feel strange and I felt as if my throat was gradually starting to close. I immediately took Zyrtec-D when the symptoms started, about  5 minutes after the drink. About four hours later the feeling had not gone away, and was gradually progressing. I went to a doctor nearby and he examined my throat. He did say that my tonsils were swollen and noticed the white gunk I had on my left tonsil, but he did not see anything wrong with my throat. I told him I have abnormally large tonsils and they usually look swollen normally because of the size. He recommended I take a Benadryl in case the reaction was allergic, because the Zyrtec-D was not working. At around 7, I went to another family doctor (after having taken half a Benadryl tablet and a liquid dose because I could not swallow the full Benadryl). He speculated that it may be acid reflux related and said I should take tums or Mylanta. I took 2 tums and was not feeling any better. Immediately after the visit I felt my throat getting worse and we went to the Emergency Room. We put our name on the list and decided to go to the store to buy Mylanta. I took the Mylanta and returned to the Emergency room about 30 minutes later. At around 8 o'clock my symptoms had not receded, but I did not feel like staying at the Emergency Room because of the wait and the symptoms started to become bearable. I went home and went to sleep. Today, I woke up and my symptoms are exactly the way they were yesterday without a change, but the feeling was different. I almost felt as if I had a wad or ball of mucus stuck in my throat causing the difficulty swallowing. I took decongestant and Mylanta early in the morning. I did notice I was congested, but they did not grant me any relief at all. Afterwards, I took a very warm shower and felt the mucus loosening but without any resolve. I returned to the ER this morning and met with a nurse practitioner. She suspected there might have been some sort of swelling in my throat and decided to give me a steroid shot in order to reduce the swelling. They could not give me an endoscopy there because they did not have the necessary materials, and the earliest I can receive one is in two weeks due to the fact the only doctor doing them here is booked 2 weeks in advanced. Now, after taking the shot I passed out for a few minutes, (I had not eaten since this event started) but I gradually began to feel temporary relief. I came home took my Nexium for my acid reflux, and drank an Ensure, 2 glasses of water, along with a small meal from Wendy's. (nuggets, fries, and a burger)  It is getting late now and symptoms are returning. I had my shot give to me about 10 hours ago. What else should I try to relieve my symptoms and what could this possibly be? Note: There is no general pain related with this issue. It is simply difficulty swallowing, even with my own saliva. I feel the water slowly go down my throat as if it is struggling to drain because of a blockage. I do not think this is food-blockage related because I had not eaten the day this started.

I know that this post was in 2013. Are you still having this problem? What was the cause? I have this problem for a long time.

I'm not a professional but this could be a mixture of things causing it, if you already suffer from acid reflux. Depending on the amount of apple cider vinegar you drank, you could have irritated your throat, as it needs to be diluted a lot. It could have also reacted with all the medication you are taking.
But I think the one doctor you saw was probably correct about it being acid reflux related - it makes sense. Maybe the cider vinegar got things moving but some acids were pushed upwards and got stuck there.

I would advise you to drink lots of water to try and flush it out. Eat liquid foods like soup in the meantime because I am worried about a blockage possibly causing choking.

Don't drink apple cider vinegar and honey again until they find out what caused this. Kind of suspicious it happened right after.

You could try and drink some slippery elm powder in water, it is soothing and can help coat any inflamation, people take it for sore throats, digestive issues, heart burn/acid reflux, constipation and all types of things.

If you are coming down with some kind of virus, try and do skin brushing following with hot and cold hydrotherapy and it will boost your immune system and fight any bugs in your system.

Lastly, I'd say don't eat unhealthy foods if you are experiencing ailments like this. Things like wendy's probably won't make your health any better. Skipping meals isn't good either as your body needs fuel to heal itself.
And make sure to get some adequete rest and eat some good healthy protien so your body can heal itself.
All of that medication might be interferring with the healing process.
