Empty handed and still in pain

I went yesterday to the doctor and he performed a colonoscopy. He had told me before that he thought it was infection or Crohn's disease, or something like Crohn's. (The CT scan showed a thickening of the colon.) After it was over yesterday he said that there was no infection that he could see and also that he didn't see anything that would suggest Crohn's but he did some biopsies and He would know next Monday.
Currently I've been running a low grade fever for several days, with almost no break in it. At one point it was above 103. I don't know what to think, do any of you have any idea what he might be looking for? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
ps my other symptoms are lower right quadrant pressure and pain that goes into my back and also stomach cramping that shows up through out the day, loose bowel movements, nausea, weakness. Also the fever seems to go up after I stand up and begin to move.

I'm surprised your doctor didn't tell you that you had IBS since he had ruled out other things. You might want to ask him if maybe it is your gallbladder or pancreas. I certainly feel your pain and frustration. Best of luck to you.

Baseball mom is corect about the likelyhood of IBS. The pain you describe is not in an area associated with the pancrease or the gall bladder however. Your Dr is probably waiting for the biopsies to come back so as not to mistate his findings....good luck
