Enlarged Common Bile Duct

I have been diagnosed with an enlarged common bile duct. I have had one endoscopy done where in they could not get to wherever it was they were trying to get because they said "I was not normal in there" and subsequently damaged my pancreas in the process. I am okay now as far as the pancreas but this Bile Duct is really enlarged and causes me a great deal of pain at times. I have been to the hospital so many to times in stomach pain and severe vomitting and anxiety that they think I'm a hyperchondriac and this is embarrassing even though they know I am in pain because my vitals are good. I am grateful that my heart is good and vitals. However...my stomach is confused about the well diagnosois. I have been sent to a specialist to re-do the endoscopy on the enlarged common Bile duct as the first Dr. ruled out gall stones ....How can I know?
