Hi,
Few months back I was reported to have anaemia. Hemoglobin count drop down to 6 g/unit (Normal-13 g/unit). I was told by gastroenterologist that folic acid and vit B 12 is not being absorbed by intestine hence blood formation (hemoglobin formation) has stoped. After endoscopy examination it was found that small portion of intestine inner lining got flattened though it should be rough for smooth absorption. Due to this malabsorption my stomach form gas and stomach got stiff and start aching usually. Though i am taking medicine prescribed by the doctor but still worried about whether there is a permanent solution of this problem or if there is a solution, what is that solution and how long will it take in complete cure? I mean how soon my intestine's innerlining turn into the same as it was previously and I will start having normal digestion without stomach pain and Gas formation.....

Thanks and Regards,
Ran
