Eosinophilic esophagitus

This past week I have been diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis. I have been put on neocate and boost for a month but it's driving me crazy they said i am not allowed to eat within that month. Is there anyway I am able to speed up the recovery time or do anything to fix this problem finally? Please email me at ***@**** if you have any answers.
