Epigastric pain attacks x 9 months

Once a month, almost like clock work, I start to feel a pain inbetween my naval and sternum. It takes about 30-60 min for the pain to increase untill it's full force. 9/10 constant wretching pain that will last between 6-8 hours. No fever but chills. Would vomit from pain several times an attack untill I started takeing pain killers. Then as quickly as the pain came it goes away. I am left feeling bruised in the mid epigastric area as well as my pelvic area for about a day. Normal bowel movements-No change in menstraul cycle- no acid reflux- no pain or blood in urination.Went to the ER 5 times- 2 ultra sounds 5 blood work ups and 2 x-rays. They found a small hepatic hemangioma but say there is no relation to the pain. It's gonna happen again next month and the month after that untill somone finds out what is wrong with me. I have spent hours researching my symptoms on the internet and I feel like I'm the only person who has ever expierienced this..I'm out of Ideas and quickly loseing hope.

Well, could be some sort of hormonal changes are causing you to have severe gas, which some women do have bad gas during their cycle, which would explain the once a month thing.  And even if it's not directly connected to the cycle, we have changes going on all thru the month.  I had that kind of pain when I was in my teens after eating a big meal, it was so bad that all I could do is just lay there in terrible pain in my tummy and side for hours until it finally went away.  A relative told me she had it when she was a girl, told me to take an alka seltzer, and when I did, it went away.  I don't know if that's it, but give alka seltzer a shot, it dissipates the gas, and see if it helps.  If it turns out it's not gas, you could have a gyno doc do some labwork, to see if your hormones are way off the chart, especially since this a monthly thing.
