Excessive, profuse, uncomfortable sweating

Excessive, profuse, uncomfortable sweating

For a few years now, but a great deal more intensely as of recent, I seem to be sweating a lot from my anus. I don't know for sure if it is coming FROM my anus, all I know is that I come home from a four hour shift and the crotch of my underwear and pants are soaked through with a huge wet spot. Yesterday it was so moist that when I got out of my chair at class, there was a line of moisture left behind on my seat. I have tried everything from using body powder to absorb the moisture to hiding a stack of paper towels in my boxers to try to combat it. It's not only very embarrassing when the spot creeps into the top of the leg part of my pants, but it is extremely uncomfortable. I have no idea what is causing it or what it is even called. Please Help

Excess moisture can be due to a weak sphincter, hemorrhoids, or diarrhea from a number of intestinal disorders.  Also, a high level of yeast in the body can cause the moisture, sometimes this happens from overuse of steroids.  There are various treatments for all of these conditions, so you have to go see your doctor about this matter.

Also, sometimes people just plain sweat way too much, which is called hyperhidrosis or diaphoresis.  IF this is a primary condition, that is, not caused by another disorder, treatment can include something simple, like putting an antiperspirant in the general area a few times a week (similar to the powder you tried), or more inolved and invasive solutions, or also you can be prescribed a medicine by a doctor to cut back on sweating.

In addition, this sweating could very possibly be a seondary condition, that is, caused by a few rather serious whole-body diseases, the list is long, so you MUST visit a physician about your excessive moisture situation, so you don't wind up dreadfully ill.  In this case, your sweating symptom just might be a life-saver.  And for support whilst you wait to see a doctor, here is a website forum for people who have sweating issues:
