Excessive burping and hiccups

I developed a Kidney Stone in April 2009 for the first time. I also developed then a burping and hiccup condition. It's almost a year now and I'm still suffering from it. I've had testings done but they all came back negative. Doctors don't know what's causing my burping and hiccups. I didn't have this problem until I had the Kidney Stone. It took me 5 weeks to pass the stone but the burping and hiccup continued. I was given medication for Acid Reflex but that didn't help at all. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my condition? It's not getting any better and it makes me feel yucky.
