FAP issues and im freaking out! please help

In December 2009 I was diagnosed with FAP , I had my colon removed Feb 2010. I was 25yrs old then with thousands of polyps. I wouldn’t have even known I had this genetic disease if it wasn’t for my mom being so persistent with my primary doctor on how fatigue I am and the occasional bloody stool. She didn’t know it at the time but she saved my life. Anyway, then a few months ago I started having right side pain under my last rib and nausea. I tried ignoring it at first because the previous year I had been at the doctors for so many test I just pushed it off as this is my new normal  until, the pain got so sever I went to the ER. I went March 7th and had a hida scan done my gallbladder is fine, no stones, but, I have extremely slow draining in my bile duct. My primary doctor referred me to a surgeon. (yeppy surgery again) I am going to my digestive disease specialist in the morning for my second scope and ECG since having my colon removed ,in the morning. My primary doctor instructed me to take the Hida scan test results to him. Im worried this is FAP related but not real sure. If worring about the scopes were not enough now this?? UHH! When I had my colon removed I did not have my rectum removed even though it was full of polyps too. I know now from further researching FAP that was a mistake they are going to come back, its just a matter of time so, again another surgery.  My question’s …can the slow drainages be due to FAP? Also, how much risk am I in having multiple abdominal surgeries in my future? How may time is “SAFE” to sedate a person? I know I am worried about way to much Its just im a planner and this is not going according to my life plan LOL

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I don't know much about FAP, although there is another member in here that knows a lot about it.  The risk of having multiple abdominal surgeries is that you can form adhesions in your small bowel which can cause blockages which can be life threatening (and require more surgery).  At your age, getting sedated many times isn't really a risk.

This is difficult to answer, I would sure ask the physician.
