Following a CT scan I was informed that there was fattyXanthoma tissue on my pancreas. What causes this fattyXanthoma tissue, and can it be dealt with? Also, does this fattyXanthoma tissue pose a threat to my health, and is it an indication of a more serious problem in the future?
The most typical cause is over-weight problems which can leadLead poisoning to fattyXanthoma deposition in a number of organsOrgan-1 nr including the pancreas. Fatty infiltration whether due to weight problems or diabetes can over time can cause problems. You should discuss this with your doc.
