Feeling bloated and full when hungry?

For the past couple of days, when I haven't eaten in a while, I feel full and bloated, but I know my stomach is empty?  Is it safe to eat when I feel like this?  Is it just gas building up because I'm hungry?

Anything I can do to relieve this feeling?  (Like, should it go away whhen I eat?)

I have the same symptoms.  But it doesn't appear there is much in the way of advice or help on these forums unless you pay the dr. to answer it.
