Fever and Diaharrea

Fever and Diaharrea

Approximately 8 weeks ago, I had a blockage removed from my right carotid artery.  Two weeks after that, I had surgery for invasive ductal carcinoma (Stage 1c)  Since the first surguery, I've been running a low grade fever (99.7 - 99.9) off and on.  Never any higher.  Three weeks ago, I started having occasional diarrhea and now have started running a fever of 100.8.  I had a CBC a several weeks ago and it showed a white count of 15,000.  According to the ER doctor, it wasn't high enough to warrant an antibiotic.  I called both my surgeons and they felt that my body was reacting to all of the surgeries, biopsies, etc.  Could this all be inter-related or is this just a simple virus that needs time to run its course?  I'm not yet in treatment for the breast cancer.  I'm awaiting the results of the Oncotype test to determine whether I need chemo or if I go straight to radiation.  I may just be making myself into a basket case and letting my nerves get to me.  Thanks.
