Floating stools and no medical history

Hi. I am 23 years old, healthy female  with no medical history (other than ADHD growing up). I work in a hospital as a nurse aid. I have been looking online and recently found information about bowel movements. All of my life as far back as I can remember my stool has floated. It never smells foul, never looks "frothy or spongy" It just plainly floats, sometimes its dark like im constiptated other times its a lighter brown, but never does it smell or have bubbles or smear or look greasy. Is this a concern? I heard if it floats its a bad sign that you could have a liver disease or something. Like I said all it does is float. No grease. Its not foamy nor bulky, I have no problems going. No problems managing weight. No pain or blood or mucous in the stool. just....floats...

think i should get it checked out?

Also does anyone have a change in the ir bowel movements when they are on their menstrual cycle, mine become much softer then, and I have no idea why ?! again something thats always happened.

I think you're fine since this is typical for you.  Just make sure you are gettting adequate fiber, but not too much.
