Frequent bowel movements

by Mimi360, Jul 04, 2009 02:55PM
I had a small section of my colon removed due to a hole in the colon discovered during a colonscopy. This was 1 month ago and I'm having several bowel movements a day (nearly every time I urinate). The movements are not overly soft but also not hard to pass. The frequency of my bowel moverments had been usually only once a day. Will this eventually ease up? Is there a temporary way to stop this frequency? I must wear pads every day so as not to soil my underwear as the passing of the stool happens even when I cough or pass any gas.
Any info is appreciated.
