, and an endoscopy with biopsies- all came back negative. It started about 3 months ago and hasn't got any worse or better after a diet change. I also am taking creon for pancreatic insufficiency after drinking a lot for several years. The creon cleared up the passing of undigested food but not everything else.
Before about 3 months ago I was able to eat and drink whatever I wanted with little or no issues. This wasn't like it started one day after I was feeling healthy, it got worse over several weeks. I drank way too much and ate bad food for about 5years prior to this, but have stopped drinking and started eating better over the last 3 months. I can still eat anything and feel the same the next day.
(just lack the enzymes to digest the gluten - but not accompanied by an autoimmune attack which is celiac disease). Foods that aren't digested too well help feed yeast in the intestines. Most common
are gluten (wheat, barley, rye and possibly oats) and cow's milk products. Sugar of course feeds yeast along with carbohydrates in general. For myself, I find I do best on a low carb diet like Atkins. I'm not religious about sticking with it though. But I find that I seem to get yeast die-off - in my case diarrhea that smells musty, moldy - off and on for the first few weeks. After the diarrhea episodes, I feel like my body got rid of something that made me feel awful. My energy levels soar. I don't know if you'd like to try this type of diet to see if you get relief, but check with your doctor if you do. Hope this helps.
