Full stomach

I'm a 20 year old male and my stomach always feels full and never seems to feel like its hungry. I eat because i know i have to get some source of energy, but am curious to why this is? and also if it prevents me from possibly losing some fat in the stomach region and possibly getting a lean stomach area. does anyone have a solution to this? i could really use the help, thanks.
