Fundoplication complications and reversal

I read your comments with great interest.  I had a full wrap Nissan Fundoplication 7 months ago.  The surgery was done because I had a very large hiatel hernia but no heartburn symptoms at all.  The pain and pressure in my chest from the hernia led me to the surgery.  I have experienced the same syptoms (symptoms) as "hihopes" with the severe gas problems, bloating of my abdoment on a daily basis and pure physical discomfort from the constant bloat.  I am scheduled to have my fundoplication reversed in April.  My doctor was open to the surgery mostly because I never had the heartburn symptons.  I am hoping that I do not have them after the reversal.
