My doctor did a rectal and stool test and found nothing
He referred me to a GI specialist for endoscopy.
He thinks It's gastrits from stress.

Hi,

Gastritis can cause those symptoms!  Stress is now known not to be the primary cause for gastritis / ulcers - instead it is due to a bacteria called H. Pyelori.  You should see a Gastro Dr.  and he would check for this bacteria.

Mind you, not all gastritis is due to this bacteria - I have severe gastritis and ulcers of unknown cause (mind you they haven't done a full workup - only endoscopy and test for H.pyelori that was negative).  I also have a pretty stressful life - but the literature says that is not a major factor, although surely it must be one.  For me I have noticed that if I am depressed the gastritis is worse (it dramatically improved when for some reason the depression lifted) - it does make sense because when depressed or stressed ones immunity and physical balance (chinese concept) is out.

See the specialist and follow up.  Medication, though expensive, can help the symptoms dramatically and improve quality of life.  If it is H.pyelori a course of antibiotics normally gives a 'cure'.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

Sally
