GI discomfort - medical condition?

I've been suffering intermittant bouts of many different GI issues - heartburn, nausea, belching, feeling overly full after a normal meal or small meal, gas pains under my ribs, constipation with rare instances of diarhea (diarrhea).  These have been occurring either all at the same time, or one or the other, or one followed by the other for many months without permenant resolve - it keeps coming back.  I don't want to spend the $$$ on doctors and tests only to be told I just need to eat more fiber or something!    I'm worried it may be gallbladder related, but I don't have pain in my shoulder, just on occassion severe sharp pain right under my rib, or feeling almost like I have a baseball under my rib - and to use the sports analogy a basketball of air in my abdomen.   My diet is pretty balanced with the occassional junk food or fatty meal. I don't eat fast food, I don't drink pop, i eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and whole grains. I don't smoke and I excersize 1-3 times a week.    Also this last bout has lasted for about a week and I feel very fatiqued with it even sleeping 8-9 hours a night.    I despise going to the doctor only to have them find nothing at all.  Should I go to the doctor or try just changing my diet?  Could it be a gallbladder issue or hypothyroid issue (this has been checked in the past with negative result tho my mother has this) or just simply something that can be fixed by modifying my lifestyle?

Hey Becky.
Welcome to the forum.
I dislike going to doctors too.
My family doctor doesn't know what I look like. It's been so long!
You need to do an elimination diet. Just look it up. And please be very strict with yourself while on it, otherwise the results won't be reliable.
The foods that you like most could be your worse enemies. Rule of thumb.
Also you need to do a saliva test for Candida. Again look it up. You tube may have a video
on this. Very easy to do and fast results.
You may want to try Dr. Coca's Pulse Test. It is a free download and it will show any reactivity or allergy to anything that is considered invasive when you ingest it.
Hope this helps and I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
Blessings
