Gagging and pain after eating

Gagging and pain after eating

Hello,
For the past six months I have been having reoccurring gagging and pain after eating. Usually five minutes after eating I will gag for about 10 minutes. Sometimes I will even throw up depending on how severe it becomes. It doesn't matter what foods I eat it always happens everyday after every meal, withe some foods however it gets worse. I also get intense stomach pain and intestinal pain and sometimes followed by diarrhea.

What could I be suffering from? Would an over the counter acid reflux medicine help?
I don't know what to do!

Thank you.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  This could be something like acid reflux.  I would recommend seeing your doctor about this.  Over the counter acid reflux medications might help but I would recommend seeing your doctor first.
