Gall Bladder and PSC

I am 35 years old and was recently diagnosed with PSC.  I have read how the gall bladder is or could be involved with this liver disease, but I had my gall bladder removed about 12 years ago when I was having alot of abdominal pain and pale stools.  Now that I have PSC is it a result of the gall bladder problems and bile duct strictures back then?  I'm thinking I have had PSC alot longer than just finding out 28 Jan 09.

Is having my gall bladder out now gonna make my PSC disease easier or harder?

Please someone help because I'm looking for answers.

Thank you

Capt, the gallbladder is often removed due to problems with it before or when PSC is found, so it should have no effect on what is going on. Was anything said at the time of the GB removal about any other than 'normal' abnormalities with it, because it can 'herald' the start of PSC in some cases.

You may want to have yourself checked for any form of inflammatory bowel issues as PSC is highly correlated with IBDs - just a precaution.
