Gall bladder removal?

Gall bladder removal?

I had a bad attack about 6weeks ago, the Dr. ran tests and although I don't have gallstones my HIDA scan showed 12% function of my gall bladder.  Then to the gastro doctor, he did a endoscopy (upper) and told me I have gastritis and put me on 2 Nexium a day (I had been taking Priolsec for about 6 years for GERD)  The Nexium made me feel like I have a lump in my throat, so he told me to try taking 2 Priolsec a day instead, now this is beginning to cause the same "lump in my throat".  My question is...would it be better to just have my gall bladder remove?  He said this is an experiment to see if my symptoms disappear (pain in upper right abdominal which it it pretty much has, and the nausea is improved too, ice cream cause alot of gas & pain discomfort that took a couple of days to disappear.  Would all this be better without the gall bladder and maybe no medicines??
