Gall bladder

Hi I have picked up 30kgs over the past two years. tried every diet nothing works. never had a weight problem before. One weak ago got ill with my whole body in pain high fever. kidneys felt like they were on fire. the my stomach felt like it was on fire. the glands at back of my head are throbbing. I went to my GP who was very concerned said I had to have surgery. I am on medication at the moment for five days will see my GP on Saturday. In the meentime I have been reading alot on the gall bladder. My big question do I or don,t I have the surgery Can you give me some advice. Thank you Jenny.
