Gall stones

by shropslad, Dec 21, 2007 09:23AM
My wife has 2 small gallstones, after 2 big attacks she has drastically changed her diet & has lost nearly 3 stone in the process.
She wants to know if the gall stones can be removed without having the gall bladder removed? She has had only one small attack since her diet change & feels that she can control the condition through diet.
I have heard of people passing gall stones, is this possible or is surgery the only option.

Thanks,
Mark

No, GB surgery to remove it is done laproscopicly. There are elixers and tonics which they say can disolve stones but they are not tested. The surgey worked well for me 6 weeks ago or so and now I can eat anything. Surgery is about the only medical option. all the best to you in the old country.
