Gallbladder Problem????

I have to go for an ultra sound on my gallbladder.  Alot of the pain I get is on the right side but every once in awhile I do get a pain under my left rib cage.  Can gallbladder problems cause pain on the left side?  

I had an attack a few weeks ago that felt like I was having a heart attack.  I didn't go to the ER because eventually it went away.  Can gallbladder attacks sometimes feel like a heart attack?

In some people, yes, gallbladder problems can show up with a left side pain. It's not what would be considered 'typical' but it does happen.

GB pain can be severe enough that it can literally put you on the floor feeling like you want to die. The feeling of a 'heart attack' is more usually attributed to having something like esophageal spasms.

I suffer from gallbladder problems and in all honesty my pains even confused the dr, gall bladders can irritate your diaphragm muscle just under your rib cage Whig can cause referred pain such as right shoulder pain.  So follow thru with the appropriate test to either confirm or rule out gallbladder issues.
