I had my gallbladder removed a year ago. I suffered from many severe gallbladder attacks. Ever since the surgery i have been gaining weight over 50lbs since the surgery, I'm always tired, and nauseous, I never seem to have enough energy. I also get diarrhea frequently. I spent an entire summerSummers eve anti-itch last year running and I only gained more weight. I eat about 2 meals a day, not usually a lot. Im not sure why or how i gained so much weight and why I'm tired all the time. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate it!
Did you have the thyroid labs done with your other bloodwork? You need to check and make sure. The PROPER tests to be run for thyroid is TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh, Free T4T4 test and Free T3. Are you having any particular symptoms other than weight gain?
If your a female, I would have your gyno check you for PCOS which causes abdominal pain and weight gain.
