Gallbladder; biliary dyskinesia

Gallbladder; biliary dyskinesia

I am healthy 39 year old, in shape, non smoker, non drinker.  About 3 months ago I began getting strange abdominal discomfort; bloating, cramping and then eventually burning in upper abdominal area.  After many visits to doc; endoscopy, ultrasound and Hida scan they eventually diagnosed me w/ biliary dyskinesia as my rate was 22%.  My reaction to the cck was major nausea (i really wanted to puke) and mild 'pain'.   My incidents occur about 2 times a week - sometimes more sometimes less. Food triggers; chocolate, apples, salad dressing.. many more. However sometimes a food will trigger it that did not trigger it the days before. Very confusing. I sometimes get the right side under ribcage pain - but usually not -usually more of a burning in upper sternum area.  Zegerid takes the edge off - but not always. Surgery set for just over a week from now.  Concerned if surgery will actually help....?
