Gallbladder

I'm having discomfort in upper right abdomen. Not really pain, feels like a foot in my rib cage. Had a gallbladder attack in April. Severe bloating. No gas, no vomiting or nausea, no constipation or diarrhea. Very uncomfortable. I can't sit or lie down. Ultrasound shows no abnormalites. Hida scan scheduled for October. Any ideas of what the issue may be?

CT scan would be better to show any problem with the gall bladder. If not gallbladder, that feeling could be some sort of hernia or gas build up. Does tums or GasX help at all?

When my gallbladder went bad in 2005 it felt like severe heart burn I was out of town and on day 3 told my parents we had to go home. 6 hour drive. I literally thought I would die before getting to ER. Didn't even get kids settled went direct to hospital and my parents went to stay with my kids. Hour and a half later in emergency surgery as my gallbladder was about to explode. The second I became conscious post op I had immediate relief. 12 hours later I was discharged. I had no prior attacks or symptoms but having 2 difficult pregnancies various other things it was the worst pain I've ever had in my life for sure! Try a different doctor as that's what I have had to do for other issues. Good luck!
