Dear Bighteyes
When you undergo gall bladder surgery its not the stone but the whole gall bladder is removed, so there is no question of recurrence of gall stones. But sometimes a small stone can be left in long cystic duct (The duct that connects gall bladdre to common bile duct).
Stone can reccure (though rarely) in common bile duct after gall bladder sugery.
Best wishes

Hi,

Yes they can reoccur if your haven't changed the lifestyle that causes them.  Search it out to find a natural site that will explain. Meateaters, high fat, colesterol rich diet may have a place in development of stones.  Mine did reoccur, but through a natural cleanse of olive oil and lemon juice, they have passed once again painlessly.  I highly recommend going this route.
