Gas Trouble and Cough/Cold after quit smoking

I have quit smoking 14 days ago. I have started developing severe flatulent and gastric discomfort in stomach.  In addition to this I am having severe cold and cough symptoms for the last two days. I am very much worried as I would like to know whether these are common symptoms of quit smoking? Please help.

Many thanks cnoevl21. In fact I am getting better. I am facing two issues together since I have stopped smoking and alcohol both together at once with immediate effect rather than a gradual reduction.

I dont know if they are common, but i experienced them. Don't remember how long it lasted, plus i have other gastro disorders so my case would be different than yours. No harm in asking your dr about it.
