Hello - thanks for asking your question.
According to the Drug Information Handbook, gastrointestinal side effects are possible with flonase.
Gastrointestinal: Nausea/vomiting (1% to 8%), viral GI infection (3% to 5%), diarrhea (1% to 4%), GI discomfort/pain (1% to 4%)
< 3%: Abdominal discomfort/pain, appetite disturbances, colitis, dyspepsia, gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal infections, mouth/tongue disorder, oral erythema, oral rash, oral ulcerations, stomach disorder, viral gastroenteritis, weight gain
Without examining you, I cannot say for sure that the flonase is directly responsible for your symptoms. To be safe, I would be evaluated by a physician. If the flonase is not the culprit, then you may want to be evaluated for other causes of upper GI discomfort, such as dyspepsia (gastritis/esophagitis/ulcers), GERD, or biliary disease. Evaluation with an abdominal ultrasound, upper GI series or upper endoscopy should be discussed with your personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
