Dear True,
It is unusual for a young person (and 33 is young) to have B12 deficiency unless the diet is very limited. The symptoms of heartburn, bloating, burping etc are not indicative of vitamin B12 deficiency. These symptoms are often described by individuals with nonulcer dyspepsia, although some other conditions would need to be excluded before concluding that you have nonulcer dyspepsia. I would stop the B12 supplementation. A

Serum phosphorus
Serum progesterone

Sodium - blood B12 level would show whether there is any reason for you to be concerned about B12-related problems. To work up your other symptoms, you might require
bariumBarium enema
Barium ingestion
Barium sulfate
Upper gi and small bowel series x-rays or endoscopy. the specific tests would be determined after adetailed history had been obtained and a physicial examination performed.

in my stomach. my stool is'nt loose but there is very little,
and there was a feeling of having to go often. yesterday i added
a lot of fiberto me diet and i haven't had a B/m all day. when i have this feeling of bloatness i also feel nausius. this feeling fades in and out all day, and seems to worsen at night. what can cause this?
Any advise will be appreicated.
I am currently taking prevacid (300mg) twice a day for both the reflux and gastrits. I am also taking muscle relaxors for the spasms. I am also having breathing problems and I beleive it is a possible sympton of three of these conditions.
Can this be true and what are the possible ways to correct this problem?
Thank you

movements. Upuntil that time I went once a day like clockwork.
Almost over night I have mild cramps in my lower stomach and
a rumbling in a wide area of my body cavity. My stool is watery
a frequent. I talked to my M.D about it and she put me on prilasec, and I remained on it for 2 months. My condition seemed to become even more sever. I do not have heartburn, but I have
to pass gas, has a very strong oder. The color of my stool is
very light with no signs of blood. I have had an upper G.I and
they found an irritation around the duodinum. My condition is
annoying and troublesome. I am 49 and otherwise in great health.
I weigh 155 and have not lost any weight.
Any info would be greatly
appreciated
Note 1: A few months ago I experienced ongoing pain in the waist area as if a belt were cutting into my stomach. This lasted almost two weeks and then went away.
Note 2: My urine has a strong smell if I don't drink plenty of water and my flow is weak.
Please post any info.. Thanks so much.
Please I would appreciate any information you could give me.
Thank you

you needs to go to a gastroenterologist, or even you primary care doctor adn tell them about the penci thin stools. this can be a sign of a blockage, I am told, possibly cause by a polyp in the colon. I would schedule an appt. immediately so that they can rule out other more serious conditons.
good luck -

I’ve been experiencing strong gas like symptoms every time I eat or drink. It's been going on now for 4 days. These gas like symptoms come and go through out the day. Although my stool is formed it usually feels like I have diarrhea. At night I sleep fine with maybe one episode of discomfort. I have no nausea or aching joints. Other then the strong presence of gas in my stomach I feel great. I have had gastritis in the past, but I usually found my self in the ER at the hospital. Anyway any advice on treatment or how long this will persist would be great.
