Gastroenterology

I'm a 51 year old female.  I have had IBS for years. I had a endoscopy and colons copy 2 years ago.  Family history of colitis, polyps etc.  Doctor said I had IBS d/c. Both a combination makes it hard to treat. About a mon ago I started bleeding rectally bright red blood and vomiting. He performed another endo and colonoscpy. He said I had gastritis and is treating me for such. I still have man concerns.  Prior to bowels moving I will start to have stomach cramps, vomit and then bowel movement.  This takes about 20 minutes and very nauseous. It is followed by more diarrhea and cramping. This happens so frequently that if traveling I simply don't eat while others do.  It's any foods and cant pin point a pattern just know it's getting increasingly worse. I am trying a few med such as aciphex to see if it helps my stomach but I need to understand e vomiting before movement and no one seems to be able to help.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  You need to see a new GI about this.  Your other doctor doesn't seem to understand that this is serious.  Bleeding bight red blood rectally is not a symptom of gastritis.  Do you still have the rectal bleeding?  Have you tried eliminating any foods from your diet?
