Gastroesophageal Reflux

Hi I am a 36 year old female with the history of bloating, pain, feeling full after eating, constipation and fatigue, trouble swallowing and food getting stuck in my throat.

I have seen this doctor for years for all of these symptoms and they allways told me to eat plenty of fiber and walk.
Well I have done what they told me to do and no relief. I actually had one doctor to tell me that it could just be in my head, hello how can a swollen stomach be in my head.

Ok finally in December I called and made an app. and when I went I sat there and told him straight up that I was not leaving until he did something for me. I told him to run any test that was available, he tried passing it off that I just had IBS well I wasn't buying it. I just sat there and didn't move. Finally he sat down and listened to me and before long I had my appointments.

Jan. 7 I had an endoscopy, biopsies. The day of the procedure he told me I had a Hiatal Hernia and acid reflux disease and he would let me know about the biopsies and soon as they come in. Well about a week later he called me and told me to come in and I was told that I had Chronic Gastritis, chronic Esophagitis and Helicobacter Pylori.

I ask him what I could do to get rid of it and he said to eat more fiber and get excercise and raise the head of my bed up. I went home and started doing what he said. I looked it all up and was wondering why he didn't give me meds for the Gastritis and H-pylri so I called him and he said he would call it in for me, well he didn't.

So I made an other app. demanding him to something. I felt like there was more going on so I told him I wasn't satisfied and wanted more test, LOL he said you are serious aren't you, I said yes make me more app now. He made an app for a Barium Swallow with the Pill. I went the next day. They told me that it would only take about 30 min. to do the procedure and I was in there over an hour, repeating everything. finally I was done. Well  before I got him the doctor called me and told me to come in he needed to talk to me. He told me that I had a transient delay of the Barium tablet at the level of the Carnia in the Gastroesophageal Junction. and dealy of the constrast that I was givin.
A week later he sent me for a Gastric Emtying Study.

I went back to get the results and now he is telling me that I could be facing a feeding tube in the near future. I was uspet, thinking I had been seeing this doctor for many years and he treated me for IBS, when I knew there was more to it. He finally put me on Prevpac for 14 days for the Gastritis and H-pylori.

Has anyone been through this, I would love to hear your story. What can I do to get some relief. any info would be great
