Gastrointestinal research

Hi,
I am looking to find reading material on Gastrointestinal conditions and was wondering if anyone suggestions.  I have found some websites online, but I would like to find more in-depth information if possible.  Thanks for your time.

I don't know where you live - but here in the UK there is a ~1000 page book entitled "The British Medical Association - Complete Family Health Guide" published by Dorling Kindersley and edited by Dr Tony Smith.  The ISBN number is 0-7513-2722-0.

It contains sections covering each "part of the body" - e.g. skin/hair/nails, musculoskeletal, respiratory problems, teeth and gums - and more specifically - "the digestive system"

If you live outside the UK perhaps with the above details/ref no, you can order it from the DK website???

Once you have chosen a specific disease (e.g. rectal bleeding) you may find that further detailed information (beyond what the book can describe) can be gleaned by typing in "rectal bleeding" to google/yahoo etc.
