I don't know where you live - but here in the UK there is a ~1000 page book entitled "The British Medical Association - Complete
Family
Birth control and family planning
Choosing a primary care provider
Ewing’s sarcoma
Family troubles - resources
Health Guide" published by Dorling Kindersley and edited by Dr Tony Smith. The ISBN number is 0-7513-2722-0.
It contains sections covering each "part of the body" - e.g. skin/hair/nails, musculoskeletal, respiratory problems,
teeth
Broken or knocked out tooth
Dental care - adult
Development of baby teeth
Development of permanent teeth
Plaque and tartar on teeth
Teething symptoms
Toothaches
Dental x-rays
Teething
and gums - and more specifically - "the digestive system"
If you live outside the UK perhaps with the above details/ref no, you can order it from the DK website???
Once you have chosen a specific disease (e.g.
rectal
Anorectal fistulas
Colon cancer
Colorectal polyps
Digital rectal exam
Imperforate anus
Imperforate anus repair
Inflatable artificial sphincter
Rectal biopsy
Rectal cancer, x-ray
Rectal culture
Rectal prolapse
bleeding) you may find that further detailed information (beyond what the book can describe) can be gleaned by typing in "
rectal
Anorectal fistulas
Colon cancer
Colorectal polyps
Digital rectal exam
Imperforate anus
Imperforate anus repair
Inflatable artificial sphincter
Rectal biopsy
Rectal cancer, x-ray
Rectal culture
Rectal prolapse
bleeding" to google/yahoo etc.
