I was diagnosed with
gastricAdjustable gastric banding
Culture of gastric tissue biopsy
Gastric cancer
Gastric culture
Gastric suction
Gastric tissue biopsy and culture
Gastric ulcer
Gastroparesis
Peptic ulcer
Pyloric stenosis
Weight-loss surgeries paresis about two weeks ago.
I suffer from
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity damage to my lower
lumbarBack pain - low
Cerebral spinal fluid (csf) collection
Herniated lumbar disk
Herniated nucleus pulposus
Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
Lumbar spinal surgery - series
Lumbar vertebrae
Spinal surgery - lumbar
Vertebra, lumbar (low back) spine,
I have had two laminectomies, that the scar tissue has wrapped around the
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity endings in that area.
My question is, if the two could be ralated,
I know that the
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity endings on my spine at that level have to do with my stomach to a degree.
If this is so how can I know for sure, if this is the cause of my condition,
and if the treatment my doctor wants to put me in, will be a life time thing since the nerves do not generate.
And will it get worse with time.
Can you recomend a book or research that I can read about this.
Thank you.

_____________
Dear Sueyel,
Gastropresis results from functional abnormalities of the vagus
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity and is not related to impairment of the lower lumbar nerves. The most common identified causes for gastropareisi are diabetes mellitus, surgery to the vagus nerve, hypothyroidism, electrolyte abnormalities and some medications. Depending on the cause for your gastroparsis, treatment may not be lifetime.
