Gray Stool

My husband has been having gray, pale stools (he says they appear almost see through) for about 36 hours.  He says his feces looks like 'fritters'.  His flatulence has been extremely foul smelling as well for four days now (since turkey dinner at Christmas).  He feels very bloated, and tired, but otherwise ok.  Any help would be greatly appreciated from the Doctor.  Thanks!

Just as CalGal has said, it could be his gallbladder. Just before I had my gallbladder removed I was going gray stools.

Call his doctor ASAP.

There is no doc on this board.

Gray or pale colored stools could indicate an issue with his gallbladder. The stool is 'colored' brown because of components that are put out in the bile. When the gallbladder and bile duct aren't functioning properly it very possible for the stool color to change. Please call your doctor and have him checked.

And stay away from fatty foods.
