Is your stomach distended? My mom has IBS and hers is. Thats a common side effect of that too.

ps. I pee alot too but i figure its cause i'm drinking alot of water. i think if you go alot your body is flushing out allthe toxins so its a good thing! don't take laxitives! They get rid of the good bacteria adn the vitimins in your body! if your blood test is normal, you should be ok. one of the side effects of acid reflux is thirst. keep drinking!!

I have both gastritis and acid reflux too....how do you get rid of the reflux? It will go away eventually right? My gastritis is already better cause I take acidophilus 2x a day (20-50 billion) in the powder form mixed with water, drink lots of water, and take dgl when my stomach hurts. Its' working! I also recommend a whole food supplement. I've been eating bland foods only and cut out all glutin, wheat, corn, potato and milk products. I'm feeling alot better, but not 100% yet. I hear it takes a long time. Antibiotics and medicines will make you worse, so go natural and organic if you can!

Hi Bip,
I think you should have blood drawn to test for blood sugars and for H. pylori, and you should have a repeat urinalysis.  A regular doctor can do these.  My guess is it's not too serious, because the ultrasound came back okay.  But something is amiss.  Abnormal blood sugars can cause bloating and frequent urination and should be attended to right away.  If you have H. pylori bacteria, which is somewhat common, it can be treated and would help your digestive troubles.  When you see the doctor, you should tell him ALL the medications you take, and ANY surgical or hospital events of the last five years.  One more thing, if you're consuming lots of caffeine, gradually cut back.

I got a pelvix and a tranvsvaginal ultrasound from my OBGYN and everything is fine so I ruled out woman issues, now Im concern about bloated and urination all the time.   Do you know what this could cause this? I know your not a doctor but you seem very smart about this stuff.  Yes I did get a urine test done I have no infection.  No Im not constiptated.   I just feel gassy, heartburn, when I eat I get worst.  Im bloated 24 hours a day and peeing like every hour.   First I started urinating alot then a week later I notice I was bloated so........ I don't know if I shoulg go to a gastro or a urology  Don't know if this is 2 different things or combine together.  Im 34 yrs old female......

Dear Bip,
If you are getting constipated, the three easy ways to help that is to drink more water during the daytime, regularly exercise, and add a little more fiber (cheerios).  You can also eat alkaline foods (salads) and some acidophilus yogurt.   Avoid sodas and packaged snack foods.  Don't eat a lot at one time.

If your constipation gets stuck, get "baby lax" boxes of ointment at the drugstore, two tubes of those will get things moving.

Doublecheck what medicines you're taking.  Some will dry out a person.  Those would be my suggestions.  When is your ultrasound?  And I assume they've done a urinalysis for your peeing situation.
