H. Pylori wrong dose given by Dr. Please Help!!!!

Hello:
I was recently diagnosed with H.Pylori and my primary Dr. prescribed the triple therapy that consist of Lansoprazole, Clarithromycin, and Amoxicillin. The problem is that she told me to take only one pill of of Amoxicillin (500 mg) every 12 hours but its supposed to be two pills (1g) every 12 hours, and I already finished the cycle. Now I am very concerned because I know that this bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics. What should I do?, how long should I wait before I take another H. Pylori test?, how long would it be before I can repeat this treatment if I still have the bacteria?

HI, many times this  needs a second go round of antibiotics...so talk to ur dr and be advised many can get a yeast infection form the antibiotics and DIFLUCAN is helpful in preventing that from happening.
Plus, u may want to discuss using a probiotic as the antibiotics kill off the good bacteria needed for digestion.

Good luck
