H pylori/Gastritis/IBS?

by jiznack07, Sep 24, 2009 09:41PM
I was diagnosed with h pylori in May via a blood test. Had been having a burning sensation and extreme bloating in the mornings when I woke up. Dr put me on the proton pump (antibiotics) and almost finished the treatment (had an allergic reastion to one of the meds). Also had an x-ray that showed large black masses on the lining of my stomach. In the months since it has gotten a little worse. I used to only have problems with it on the weekends or on really stressful days now close to every morning. Always hurts in the morning feels like my stomach is empty but very bloated then usually goes away within an hour or two. Have recently been seeing a specialist and he said that he thought it was IBS so he perscribed ALIGN (it's a probiotic and helps with digestion and stomach acid) didn't noticiably help and am now I feel stuck? I am currently seeking a new specialist and don't even know if I still have the h pylori or if this is something else. Any suggestions?
