HELP

by goldenstar1389, Sep 07, 2008 11:27AM
Hello.  I had my gallbladder out in march due to gallstones.  Yesterday, I started to experience upper right abdominal pain kinda under my rib cage.  It goes around my side to my back also.  No fever, no loss of appetite.  I'm wondering what this could be considering that I dont even have my gallbladder anymore?  Can you still get stones?  Could this be kidney stones?  Appendicitis?  Something liver related?  I'm so nervous!  Thanks

I have been having the same problem. I had my gallbladder out in May. I have been back to the hospital where they did and ERCP and found sludge in my bile duct. They said that is why I was having the pain. They also snipped my bile duct muscle. But since then I have had the same pain and have had another ERCP where they found more sludge and cut the rest of my muscle. I still have the pain and have no idea what to do next. I am trying to find out if there is something else going on. I will let you know what I find out!
