HI, if you happen to pass by. PLEASE HELP ME (chronic nausea)

Hi, I'm suffering from chronic nausea. Basically I feel fine, it is manageable. But sometimes the nausea would make me feel like dying. I've never once vomitted no matter how much I wanted to. I can't eat as much as I used to.
It's kind of making me very frustrated but I tend to ignore it as much as I can. I live life normally. But I really would like to feel normal again. I was diagnosed with mild chronic Gastritis. And i was wondering if it really comes along with chronic nausea. It has been like 3-4 months now. And I would really like to know if there is a cure. I need a hope.

Other than this, sometimes the nausea feeling causes me to have short of breathe sometimes. Which is damn scary. But it not very frequent tho. And when Im eating, I have this urge to throw everything back up. But i manage to hold it down.

SO CAN ANYONE HELP ME. IM FREAKING DESPERATE :(
CONTACT ME ***@****.
Thanks! It would be much appreciated. I need my life back :(

Yes, nausea goes with gastritis.  Your doctor should have determined if a bacteria caused it and given you antibiotics.  Other reasons have to do with something you're consuming, like medications, some foods and drinks like off-brand colas, lots of things can cause inflammation of the stomach and too much acid being produced.  The solution is to stop whatever is causing gastritis and/or take a tummy medication that your doc prescribes.  One thing that helps sometimes is an ordinary alka seltzer, but that's just in an emergency...your doc should have prescribed something.  Also, if you happen to be constipated on top of the whole thing, then eating more fiber foods like oat cereal, drinking extra water and exercise will help that.  To prevent throwing up, just eat less at your meals.

Gastritis doesn't necessarily have to hurt... I think the nausea is enough!  Just kidding, but really, since so many things cause it, it can feel a little diffferntly to diff people.  The lethargy you feel is probably related to not only the endless bodily stress caused by feeling nauseated all the time, but also some lack of nutrients since you are not too thrilled with eating.  If you can get protein down, it will give you more strength.  I hope this helps steer you in the right direction, I hope your doc gave you some stuff to take to make your symptoms ease up, and in any case, I think you should go back to him and complain about this.  This is because one of the most unpleasant symptoms to experience is nausea, and with all the drugs available and information out there to explain a relatively simple illness, there is no reason why you should have to suffer.

Hi, thanks. But the nausea should be gone right? I've tried all sorts of medication to stop the damn nausea. However, it doesn't seem to go away. It's getting me frustrated, and I'm starting to lose faith. Sometimes I feel my nausea is not caused by my gastritis. So you're saying GASTRITIS will cause nausea, ALL THE TIME? And if my gastritis is cured, the nausea will be gone? :) thanks!

Wrong!  Ha!  No, you said you were diagnosed with gastritis and you wanted to know if nausea "comes along" with gastritis, and I said yes.  But nausea is also linked with a bunch of other problems in the guts.  Only your doctor can decide if you (a) still have gastritis, and (b) what is causing your nausea if it's not part of gastritis.  Hope that clarifies things.  Hon, just go to your doctor again, as I suggested, let him figure you out, because it's not normal to have nausea and shouldn't be tolerated.  And other than an alka seltzer, I have no cures, rather the doc can prescribe much better stuff for it, he can figure out why you have it and perhaps treat the cause, he can give you tips as to what would be best to eat, and so on and so forth.  Hope this settles it for you.
