H.Pylori after effects?

Here is my story. I'm 23 years old and I've never had a single health problem before this. I've never been to a doctors office besides broken bones when I was in sports so this "sickness" stuff is taking a tole on me because I'm not use to it.

I was miss diagnosed 3 times before they tested for H.pylori... I was on a antibiotic for about 20 days straight 2x a day for a "prostate infection" and I was still getting sick then they thought I just had a Stomach infection then they said I just have gastroenteritis and they sent me on home from 1 night in the hospital because I kept throwing up and couldn't keep anything down...

Then a week later a doctor asked me if I was tested for H.pylori and then I got it done and BOOM positive. Now here is what my problems are right now. I have nauseous or a gnawing feeling (very rarely do I have burning. Thank god for that at least). Then there are a few days in a row where I feel perfectly fine and then next day I get same symptoms. AFTER I was on the trip therapy to eradicate did I start to have the gnawing/burning. Do you think this is due from all the antibiotics that I have been on? I've had tons of blood and a scope work done and they only found a little bit of gastritis the doctor said. I'm now on Zantac(works the best for me) 2x a day 150mg and a pro biotic. Is this ever going to go away? I've always had a clean bill of health and no problems before this. So that's why I think I should be able to recover but I've been sick on and off for a good 2 months after the triple therapy but this week I went back to tell the doctor my symptoms and he said it sounds like I still have gastrits and gave me a zantac 2x a day and said it should clear up. Also, the biopsy came back negative for H.pylori. I'm just curious have you ever herd of some one having gastritis because of the h.pylori BUT it finally clearing up?

Please, don't post your symptoms and stuff and not give a answer. Start your own!! =)
I'm just wondering if this will eventually go away.
Thanks.

Thanks for your input. Yea, I'm not as bad as a lot of these people seem to be with the after effects of this. (hopefully its due to me being so young, 23) I just couldn't understand  why I was getting so sick all the time and I didn't have any knowledge about antibiotics because I never took them. I didn't know they killed EVERYTHING in your stomach. That's probably why I still have my gastritis because there still is nothing there to protect my stomach lining. I will look into that probiotic. I've gone on my 4th day in a row that I have felt normal again for the full day.. well, maybe a pinch of gnawing but I think I was just that hungry lol.

The zantac and pro biotic seem to be doing the trick and I know its just going to take time to heal and be back to normal. At least it sounds like I'm on that track because each week I get better and better. I'm not able to eat anything I want and no throwing it up or it coming instantly out of me. Even the dairy products I'm able to manage again.

Also, if anyone is reading this you can send me a message and ask me questions about this. Don't read too much into some of these topics because it will scare the living crap out of you and you will try and diagnose your self. I know this sounds really harsh but some people who post on these boards aren't making the proper steps into actually figuring out what EXACTLY they have. They tend to diagnose them self's and it will make you feel like you have the same exact thing. A lady said she found out she had H.Pylori and it caused her to have cancer... it scared me so bad but then I did research and found out this lady had it for about 14 years and didn't bother to eradicate it, also she was 83.

I shared some of the same stomach problems you have experienced before I was diagnosed with an ulcer. I too was positive for Helicobacter pylori.I had a mild case of gastritis and was consuming a pack of TUMS a day until an endoscope was placed in my stomach to reveal an ulcer. I also had a series of constipation. I was in a "so-called" blind study and the Gastroenterologist did not know the brand of medication that was prescribed, but it was an early drug like Zantac. I now take Prilosec once a day, and I have no problems with heartburn or gas.

Over-dosing of antibiotics can kill the very beneficial microorganisms in our gut that keep watch over the activity in our small and large intestines. Too many antibiotics will kill too many of the good " bugs" in our digestive track and  can result in bloody diarrhea and keep yours bowels in a terrible condition.

I found help for my constipation 5 months ago with a new, patented digestive capsule named "Theralac." Theralac taken for 5 days then twice a week can manage your bowels like no other digestive supplement on the market. Theralac is a probiotic with 30 billion cultures in a capsule that is not killed by stomach acid. The capsule passes through your stomach acid and dissolves within your intestines to do a better job of digesting food. I have not been constipated in 5 months, and I have two bowel movements a day. Go to the Theralac website, www.theralac.com, and read their advertisements and decide for yourself.

The bacterium, H pylori, that causes ulcers, was proved to be effective when a physician in Australia drank of container of the bacteria to prove it was the cause of ulcers. The same blood test and our breathe in a ballon that I took and probably you, too were performed on the doctor and he was positive for ulcers.

I hope you find relief!

Also, that was a total of about 26-30ish days of being on a antibiotic including the trip therapy for H.Pylori.

Do you think that my stomach is just beat up because all the antibiotics and I need to stop worrying and just give it time and the Zantac to heal it? That is what I hope at least.
