Had a Escphagogastroduodenosscopy today

Normal esophagus s/p emperic dilation.
Normal duodenum.
The GI junction was visualized.
Erythematous mucosa was found in the body of the stomach and antrum. Biopsy taken? What is this is it bad? Had the the procedure done 6 hours ago feel a little hot and my head hurts a bit and a little sore throat can i take something for this?
The reason past two weeks I eat get bloated and have palpations. For the past 7 too 10 day I can only eat jello apple sauce stuff like that lost 10 pounds.

Hi there!

The OGDscopy reports a region of inflammation which could occur secondary to infection or other causes such as irritation due to excessive acid production etc. You could try taking a glass of cold milk to help with the symptoms. I would suggest discussing the report in detail with your treating gastroenterologist after the biopsy report becomes available.
