Hallitosis

After eating several food products after a few days I develop a very bad breath. these are dairy products, meat, aubergins. My feeling is the gas (may be sulfide) froduced by these products are not abolished
(catabolised) by heathy bacteria. is there an other explaination for this? if yes how to restore the normal gut bacteria?
many thanks.

"Probiotics" is what will help restore your normal bacteria in your intestines.  It is in yogurts with live cultures, it is in Acidophilus milk or Activia yogurt at the grocery store, it is in pill form at the health food store, I think "Pearls" is the name of one.  Usually you can just take them for a period of two weeks, and it'll get that "good" bacteria back in there.

Another common cause of bad breath is the teeth need to be cleaned at least once a year by a dentist.  Also, brushing and flossing daily will get out all the food particles in the mouth from eating.

Another cause is constipation.  When you're stopped up, it creates gas, toxins build up in the body.  If you find you don't go to the bathroom every day, then might I suggest you do the three basic things that prevent constipation:  Drink extra water, exercise regularly, and slowly introduce more fiber foods to your diet, to include oat cereal, whole wheat bread sandwiches, frozen or fresh cooked vegies, and salads.
