I have this full feeling all the time under my left rib cage. they have done an upper GI and a ultrasound of the abdomen, but only found my liver was coarseing and fatty, but that is on the right side not the left, they refer me to a specalist but not till in June, also they found blood sugar, so I have had another test for it, waiting for the results of that. Does anyone else have anything like this or some answers?

Some years ago I had a similer feeling and most persistent and uncomfortable. I turned out to be unsuitable foods such as an increased white bread intake clogging up the splenic flexure (the sharp and badly designed bend where the transverse colon turns and becomes the descending colon)which sits just behind to left rib cage. It lets me know its presence whenever I divert for a while from eating the foods that the human body is designed to handle. Regards - rogor

I had that same feeling off and on for years.  I also had Crohn's disease, so the doctors always wrote that off as just another one of those weird Crohn's symptoms. I and my current doctor believe all those times were bouts of acute pancreatitis.  Well, now i have chronic pancreatitis which can come from bouts of untreated actute episodes. Make sure they  are testing your blood enzymes.  I also had an ERCP.  I take pnacreas enzymes now occasionally. The pain is a regular companion - sometimes better than others. I hope you feel better soon.
